Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 August 2026

Questfar (“we”, “us”) is operated by Sulaman Ali, trading as Questfar, based in the United Kingdom. This policy explains what data this website handles and your rights under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

The short version: this site is designed to collect as little as possible. No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no accounts, no selling of data.

What we collect, and what we don’t

Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages are popular. It is cookieless and privacy-first: it does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not track you across other websites. We see aggregate numbers (visits, pages, countries, browsers), never profiles of individual people.

Interactive tools. Tools on this site (such as the park quiz, bucket-list tracker and trip planners) run entirely in your browser. Anything you enter or save is stored in your own browser’s local storage on your device. It is never transmitted to us — we cannot see it, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Email. If you email us at hello@questfar.com, we’ll hold your email address and message for as long as needed to reply and for a reasonable period afterwards. We don’t add you to any list.

What we don’t collect: no account registration, no payment details, no newsletter list (if we launch one, this policy will be updated first and signing up will always be your explicit choice).

Affiliate links

Some links on this site are affiliate links — if you click through and book or buy, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you (see our Affiliate Disclosure for the full picture). When you follow a link to a third-party site (for example a ticket or booking platform), that site has its own privacy policy and may set its own cookies. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit from here. The affiliate networks we work with may record that a visit came from this site in order to attribute commission; this happens on their side, under their policies.

Legal basis

Where we process any personal data (essentially: emails you send us, and anonymous aggregate analytics), we rely on legitimate interests — running and improving this website and replying to people who contact us. Nothing we do requires or involves profiling or automated decision-making.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have rights including access, correction, erasure, and objection. Given how little we hold, exercising them is usually as simple as emailing us. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Data sharing and transfers

We don’t sell or share personal data. Our website is hosted by Cloudflare, whose infrastructure processes visitor requests (including IP addresses, transiently, as any web host must) to serve the site securely; Cloudflare acts under its own compliance framework for international transfers.

Changes

Any material change to this policy will be posted here with an updated date before it takes effect.
